· Cat Café

Based on international experience, it is to a hotel’s benefit to have cats on the grounds. And, it is a fact, that where there is a food supply, there will always be animals breeding. If it is not the feral cats, there will be rodents.

By humanely managing the cat population, a hotel can effectively eliminate rodent infestation at the same time.

A humane solution has been developed to address this issue, and hotel
participation creates a pro-active & positive image.

Cat Café is a designated feeding and resting area for feral cats in hotels. Resident cats are fed daily by volunteer employees. The feral cat colony is controlled population, which have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Cats which have been sterilized are easily identified because their left ear has been “tipped” while under anesthesia, during spay/neuter.
The Cat Café program has multiple benefits: the cat colony is healthy, has ongoing veterinary support and is stable. Cats now eat away from guest and employee food areas, and an onsite cat colony helps guard against rodents. So all parties benefit!

A specially designed brochure box is placed near the Cat Café, so visitors can contribute to the maintenance of this program. Funds over operational expenses will go to local spay/neuter campaigns in the nearby community, and also help fund other programs where resources are scarce.

Please help Mckee prevent cat and dog overpopulation by donating generously to the Cat Café program!
